Beijing 1 was the first passenger airliner to be designed and produced in China. With its maiden flight in 1958, no other aircraft had been produced although it is not clear why. This prototype is now preserved in the Beijing Air and Space Museum.
Beijing Air and Space Museum features also three aircraft made in Czechoslovakia. One of them is Aero L-60 Brigadý in the middle of the row of small aircraft on the right of the photo.
